Visit of Prof. Chaigneau to BCSR on 10th April 2008
Dr. Abdulla Al-Sadiq, Secretary-General of Bahrain Centre for Studies and Research (BCSR), received Professor Pascal Chaigneau, Dean of the Monte-Carlo Graduate Institute of International Studies, who was on a familiarization visit to the centre on 10 April 2008, after attending the recent Crans-Montana Forum in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Sadiq gave a presentation on the major activities of the BCSR, including the contractual and applied studies, research and public opinion surveys undertaken by the centre, as well as the work of the Strategic International Studies Department and the Dialogue of Civilizations Programme.
Professor Chaigneau stated that he was honoured to visit the centre and learn of the activities of the BCSR.  Professor Chaigneau discussed the work of the Crans-Montana Forum, established 20 years ago in Switzerland, and which now has its headquarters in Monaco. Dr. Al-Sadiq and Professor Chaigneau also discussed areas of mutual cooperation between the BCSR and the Institute.
